Knights' State Title Defense Hopes Dashed
The defending state champions fell to Muskego in 11 innings Monday.
Oak Creek’s state tournament hopes were dashed Monday in an 11-inning loss to Muskego.
The defending state champions couldn’t muster a late rally, falling to the upset-minded Warriors 4-3. The Knights are four-time state champions and were a top seed in this year’s tournament.
Muskego is now headed to the WIAA Summer Baseball sectional finals. There they will do battle with the winner of the Franklin vs. New Berlin West matchup.
