Koepsel Named Conference Player of the Year

Postseason awards keep coming for the Oak Creek senior.

Chalk up another postseason honor for Oak Creek catcher Katie Koepsel.

The senior has been named the 2011 Southeast Conference player of the year, according to the Racine Journal-Times.

Koepsel has now made first-team all-conference for consecutive years, and next week she will represent the Knights in the in Stevens Point.

Senior infielder Vicki Maldonaldo was named to the All-SEC second team.
