Try a Sport For Free This Week

Residents can drop in at Oak Creek recreation activities this week at no charge.

The Oak Creek Recreation Department continues its celebration of National Parks and Recreation Month with "Try a Sport Week" this week. 

People are invited to try the following classes at no charge and with no registration required:

Tuesday, July 16:

Find out what's happening in Oak Creekwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

  • Tennis (age 5-16): 5-6 p.m. at Oak Creek High School
  • Golf (age 12 and older): 6-7 p.m. at Gastrau Golf Center

Wednesday, July 17:

  • T-ball (age 3-7): 5-6 p.m. at Oak Creek High School

Thursday, July 18:

  • Tennis (age 10 and older) 5-6 p.m. at Oak Creek High School

Friday, July 19:

  • Soccer and football: 2-4 p.m.; grades 1-3 at Deerfield Elementary School and grades 4-8 at East Middle School. 

And make sure to check out the Recreation Department's Facebook page for clues on ducks hidden along park trails that can be brought into the recreation offices in City Hall for a prize.
