Supervisor Taylor Statement on Temple Shooting

Milwaukee, WI – Supervisor Steve F. Taylor issued the following statement regarding the tragedy at the Oak Creek Sikh temple over the weekend:

“First and foremost, I offer my condolences to the victims and families affected by Sunday’s senseless tragedy in Oak Creek. This violent attack at a place of worship is absolutely heartbreaking and should not be tolerated. I commend all of the law enforcement officers and first responders involved who continue to put their lives on the line each and every day. I have no doubt that the residents of Oak Creek – and Milwaukee County as a whole – will unite to comfort each other during this very difficult and emotional time.”
