Here's a list of the top events slated for this summer in Oak Creek, along with some of the Milwaukee area's biggest parties.

Summer is nearly here, and you know what that means. Barbecues, festivals and outdoor fun. 

Here's a quick preview of things to do in Oak Creek (as well as the largest parties in the Milwaukee area) that's bound to have you thinking of warmer days.

JULY

July 20 — Outdoor rummage sale, Oak Creek Community Center, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.     

July 24 — Oak Creek concert series (Doo-Wop Daddies), Oak Creek Community Center, 7-9 p.m.  


AUGUST


August 1-11 — Wisconsin State Fair, state fair grounds  

August 6 — National Night Out, Oak Creek Community Center, 6-9 p.m.  

August 17 — Outdoor rummage sale, Oak Creek Community Center, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.   

August 21 — Oak Creek concert series (Southern Tradition), Oak Creek Community Center, 7-9 p.m.  

August 28 — Oak Creek concert series (Mt. Olive), Oak Creek Community Center, 7-9 p.m.  

August 30-September 2 — Kickoff celebrations for the Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary, HD Museum downtown and throughout the area.  

August 30-September 2 — Lions Fest, 9327 S. Shepard Ave.  


SEPTEMBER
 

September 7 — Outdoor rummage sale, Oak Creek Community Center, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.  

September 8 — Pig & Chicken Roast, Henry Miller Park  

September 21 — Outdoor rummage sale, Oak Creek Community Center, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
