Chris Bolender Honored at Civic Dinner Dance
Retired teacher and wife of late Mayor Dick Bolender was honored for her service to South Milwaukee and Oak Creek.
Chris Bolender was the guest of honor Thursday night at the 128th Air Refueling Wing's annual Civic Dinner Dance.
Bolender, a longtime Oak Creek resident and wife of late Mayor Dick Bolender, was honored for her contributions to both Oak Creek and South Milwaukee. She taught in the South Milwaukee school system for many years, in addition to her community service in Oak Creek.
The dance also recognizes members of the armed services.
