Police Investigating Armed Robbery of 27th St. Restaurant

Police are seeking suspects who robbed KFC, near 27th and College, about 10 p.m. Friday.

Franklin police are investigating an armed robbery of KFC, 6311 S. 27th St. No one was injured in the incident, which was reported about 10 p.m. Friday, according to Patch's media partners at WISN. The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The Journal Sentinel reported that officers from Oak Creek and Greenfield and the Oak Creek Police Department's K-9 unit also responded to the scene.

Gun Found in Sikh Temple Parking Lot

A loaded 9mm handgun was found in the temple parking lot Sunday morning. Police believe it belongs to one of two suspects in an armed robbery in South Milwaukee.

Police believe a loaded handgun found Sunday morning in the Sikh temple parking lot is connected to a robbery in South Milwaukee. A 34-year-old temple member noticed the gun on the pavement about 9:45 a.m. Sunday, according to a police report. She turned it over to the temple security guard, who flagged down an Oak Creek police officer. The gun is likely connected to an incident that happened near the temple the previous night, according to police. South Milwaukee police investigating an armed robbery in their city Saturday night pulled over a vehicle across the street from the temple, 7512 S. Howell Ave. Two men fled the traffic stop. Oak Creek Police Arrest Robbery Suspect

Suspect obtained oxycodone from 27th St. Walgreens after implying he had a weapon.

Oak Creek police assisted Milwaukee police in apprehending a man suspected of an armed robbery at Walgreens, 6292 S. 27 St., Sunday at 8:01 p.m. According to the police report, the robber implied he had a weapon and obtained oxycodone from the pharmacy. After a search, an Oak Creek officer found the man matching the description of the robber hiding in the 7000 block of South 27th Street. The suspect was turned over to Milwaukee police.

Oak Creek BP Robbed at Gunpoint

Two men pointed a gun at a clerk's head while they took money from a drawer and then fled the store early Monday morning, according to police.

Oak Creek police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Monday morning at BP, 1225 W. Rawson Ave. According to the department logbook, two men approached a clerk from behind with a handgun just before 3 a.m. They directed him to an enclosed area behind the counter and ordered him to open a cash drawer. While jabbing the handgun to the back of the clerk's head, the men took about $200 from the drawer and ran out of the store. They were last seen running westbound toward 13th Street, and possibly went south on 13th, according to police. One of the suspects was described as a black male in his teens, slim build, about 5-foot-8 and wearing a black T-shirt, a black cap with the letters "DC" on the front and sunglasses, according…

OCPD Joins Search For Robbery Suspect

A South Milwaukee liquor store on 5th Avenue was robbed at gunpoint Friday afternoon, but the suspect could not be found.

Oak Creek police searched the 5th Avenue area Friday for a vehicle involved in a robbery in South Milwaukee, but were not able to locate the vehicle or a suspect. South Milwaukee police say a masked subject with a gun robbed B.J.'s Liquor, 2411 5th Ave., at 4:17 p.m. and got away with about $500, South Milwaukee Blog reports. Oak Creek officers assisted in the search for a white Cadillac believed to be used as the getaway vehicle, according to the department logbook. It was not found, and no suspects have yet been arrested.

Police Find Gun Possibly Used In Mobil Robbery

Oak Creek police may have found the gun used in an armed robbery of the Highway 32 Mobil station. According to the police department logbook, an officer found a black air-soft gun near a service road that goes behind the gas station, 9444 S. Chicago Road. Police previously said that a male suspect entered the store Saturday night and pointed a black gun at a cashier, who gave him all the money in the register. He fled from the business southbound. An officer re-checked the area near the scene Monday night and found the gun in some brush. No arrests have yet been made.

Updated: Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Mobil Station

Man took out a gun and demanded money from clerk.

updated 8:45 a.m. Monday Oak Creek police say a man with a gun robbed the Highway 32 Mobil gas station Saturday night. According to a police report, the man walked into the station, 9444 S. Chicago Road, at 10:42 p.m. and said he wanted to buy a lottery ticket. As the clerk rang up the purchase, the man pointed a black handgun at her and told her to give him money, according to the report. He took all the cash in the register and fled on foot southbound. In a press release Monday, police described the suspect as a light-skinned black male in his early 20s, medium build and wearing a black jacket, jeans with a design on the back and a gray knitted cap with white lines and tassels hanging down the sides. Open Pantry Robbed at Gunpoint

Police have not yet captured suspect.

Oak Creek police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early this morning at Open Pantry, 1225 W. Rawson Ave. According to police, a man wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and a hockey mask pointed a gun at a 27-year-old store employee and demanded money about 12:50 a.m.  He left with $110 and was last seeing running toward Drexel Avenue, according to a police report.  A police canine was called to the scene but was unable to pick up a scent. The suspect is described as white, about 5-foot-10 and thin build.
