A Christmas Musical On a Big Scale

Oak Creek Assembly of God will present "The Gift of Christmas" this weekend. Last year's musical drew more than 10,000 people.

Oak Creek Assembly of God is gearing up for its annual Christmas musical, which last year drew more than 10,000 people. The Gift of Christmas will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, 3:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday at the church, 7311 S. 13th St. The family-friendly production features a live camel, three giant video screens and a staging of the nativity.  The all-volunteer cast will also sing Christmas favorites like "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas," "Home For The Holidays," "Silent Night" and "Joy To The World." The show is free of charge, but those interested are encouraged to get tickets ahead of time at www.christmasatoakcreek.com, as performances often sell out.
