Oak Creek Man Charged in Drugged-Driving Crash

A 33-year-old suspect rammed into a motorcycle in Cudahy after another man is tried to call the cops to report his reckless driving, according to a criminal complaint.

A 33-year-old Oak Creek man is facing felony charges after he allegedly slammed his SUV into a motorcycle near the intersection of Pennsylvania and College avenues while driving under the influence of drugs. Joseph Robert Liberto was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle and second-offense operating while intoxicated-causing injury. If convicted, he faces up to 18 ½ years in prison and $35,000 in fines. Man Posts Nude Photos of Teen on Her Facebook Wall, Police Say

26-year-old Cudahy man got an Oak Creek teenager pregnant, then harassed her and her mother after they kicked him out of their home.

A 26-year-old Cudahy man posted nude pictures of an Oak Creek teenager he got pregnant on her Facebook page in an effort to harass her and her mother, authorities say. Andrew Addis was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with one count of sexual exploitation of a child, one count of possession of child pornography and one count of sexual intercourse with a child. If convicted, he faces up to 66 years in prison and $210,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: From April 8 to Aug. 12, Addis lived with the 17-year-old girl and her mother in their Oak Creek home. Knights Begin State Tournament Friday

Oak Creek plays Cudahy at 5:30 p.m. at Abendschein Park. The winner advances to sectionals Monday at West Allis Hale.

The No. 1-seeded Oak Creek Knights baseball team begins state tournament play tonight at home against Cudahy. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at Abendschein Park, 1321 E. Drexel Ave. The Knights (23-7 overall) enter the postseason as second-place finishers in both the Greater Metro Conference regular season and tournament. They are led by GMC player of the year and infielder Tanner Johnson along with first-teamers Hayden Krimmer (infielder) and Austin Barbee (pitcher). Cudahy comes in with a 16-13 overall record and beat New Berlin Eisenhower in the first round to advance to Friday's regional final. The Knights, as the top seed, had a bye. Man Charged With Stealing From Hanna Trailer

Suspect allegedly stole thousands of dollars while working for the company so he could buy crack.

A Cudahy man is facing charges after he allegedly stole money from his Oak Creek employer so he could purchase crack cocaine. Peter Anthony Mueller, 39, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Thursday with two counts of theft. If convicted, he faces up to 18 months in prison and $20,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On March 10, the owner of Hanna Trailer contacted police after he discovered someone took nearly $3,800 from a lock box inside his office. The next day he contacted police again after Mueller, who worked at the company, sent an email to the owner saying he took the money from the desk. Two Charged in Burglary of Hein Electric Supply

Suspects investigated in Waukesha County break-ins charged with December burglary in Oak Creek.

A Milwaukee couple under investigation for break-ins in Waukesha County are facing charges for allegedly burglarizing an Oak Creek business. Jolee Beth Carlson, 24, and Matthew H. Stolzel, 27, were charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with one count of burglary. If convicted, they each face up to 12 ½ years in prison and $25,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 3:14 a.m. Dec. 12, an Oak Creek police officer on patrol passed by Hein Electric Supply, 6970 S. 13th St., and noticed an overhead garage door was backed into with a vehicle and a service door was unlocked. Suspect In Hit-and-Run Arrested After Pursuit

Cudahy police arrested 47-year-old who allegedly fled from Oak Creek accident.

A 47-year-old man was arrested in Cudahy after allegedly fleeing the scene of an accident on Drexel Avenue in Oak Creek. According to an Oak Creek police report, the man rear-ended a vehicle as it turned onto S. Burdick Ave. from the 500 block of E. Drexel Ave. about 10:30 a.m. Thursday. A witness told police the man left his car disabled in the roadway and jumped into another vehicle. The witness followed that vehicle into Cudahy. The 47-year-old fled on foot from Cudahy officers and into St. Francis but was eventually apprehended by Cudahy police, according to the report. He was arrested for multiple offenses, including operating without insurance, inattentive driving and operating while revoked, and could face other citations for …

Report: Oak Creek Manufacturer Moving to Cudahy

Milwaukee Composites Inc. will build facility near College and Pennsylvania.

An Oak Creek-based manufacturer will build a new 120,000-square-foot facility and relocate to Cudahy, according to a report in the Milwaukee Business Journal. Milwaukee Composites Inc., 7330 S. 1st St., produces sandwich panel floors and ceilings as well as composite windscreens, door fenders and other parts. The company's products are largely used in mass transit floors. The new facility will be built in an industrial park near College and Pennsylvania avenues.
