Could You Be The Next Cheesehead Snooki Or Pauly D?

Hollywood wants to capture Wisconsin's deep abiding affection for the Green Bay Packers and they are going to make a reality show about cheeseheads.

Move over Jersey Shore, the "cheeseheads" are taking over reality television via TBS's new reality show called...well, Cheeseheads, according to SBNation.com. Hollywood has just figured out what we alreday knew -- that Snookie and Pauly D have nothing on us. The producers hope to capture "the hilarious subculture," which of course includes the rituals of brew, brats, and the brouhaha around extreme fandom. The producer is Jason Carbone, who who also did The Bachelor and Run's House. A pilot likely hasn't been put together. So, if you could produce this show, where would you find shining examples of Packers Nation?

What Time is the Packers-Vikings Playoff Game?

Green Bay hosts Minnesota at Lambeau Field in the third game of the season between the NFC North rivals.

After failing to stop Adrian Peterson twice, the Green Bay Packers will be invited to do so again on Saturday in the first round of the NFL Playoffs. The Packers host the Minnesota Vikings at 7 p.m. Saturday, and the game will be broadcast locally on Today’s TMJ 4. Peterson thrashed Green Bay for 199 yards on Sunday, including a final, 26-yard run to make easy the game-winning, 29-yard field goal in the 37-34 triumph that put Minnesota into the playoffs. The performance was just four weeks after he rushed for 210 yards in Green Bay in a 23-14 Packers win. The Packers try to counter with offense and quarterback Aaron Rodgers. His final three games of the regular season were impeccable — 78 of 114 passing (68.4 percent), 998 yards, 10 …

What Time is the Packers-Vikings Game on Sunday?

With a win over the hated purple rivals, the Packers can earn a bye in the first round of the NFL playoffs, and guarantee a home game.

The Green Bay Packers can clinch the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs by defeating the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon. The game has been moved to 3:25 p.m. from the original noon start, and will be broadcast locally on FOX 6. A team that has won nine of its last 10 games is expected to welcome back wide receiver Jordy Nelson from a hamstring injury, but now fellow receiver Randall Cobb did not practice Wednesday or Thursday after injuring his ankle last week.  Charles Woodson also has been ruled out, though he is expected back for the playoffs. Despite season-long injury issues, however, the Packers have succeeded thanks to the emergence of players such as James Jones, Mike Neal and Casey Hayward. And the running game has seen a boost…

Aaron Rodgers Day: Share Your No. 12 Photos Here!

Are you celebrating Wisconsin's special 12-12-12? Share what you like best about the Green Bay Packers quarterback here – or tell us why you can't stand him!

I personally think 12-12-12 should be a national holiday, but with our president being a Bears fan and all … it’s not going to happen. It’s Aaron Rodgers day. A day for Green Bay Packers fans to celebrate the success of the team under the leadership of No. 12. Let’s just face it, it’s a day for us to wear our green and gold jerseys, to paint our fingernails green (am I right, ladies?) and to just get darn excited that we are Packers fans from Wisconsin. Aaron Rodgers day started as a Facebook joke that became viral. The state legislature officially declared Dec. 12, 2012, to be his day. Milwaukee County workers are being allowed to wear Packers jerseys or shirts to work on Wednesday. Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele is encouraging …

Roads Could Be Treacherous on the Way to Packers Game

If you're headed north to see Green Bay take on Detroit Sunday, make sure you allow yourself some extra time for travel.

If you're lucky enough to have tickets to Sunday night's prime-time showdown between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions, make sure you allow yourself a little extra time for the trip north because the roads could be treacherous. The National Weather Service says a significant storm that could bring more than 6 inches of snow to north-central and northeast Wisconsin could begin as early as late Saturday night and continue into Sunday night. The weather service says hazardous travel conditions could occur in the Green Bay area as a result of the snowfall, so allow some extra time on your way to Lambeau Field. Forecasters also note, however, that there still a lot of uncertainty about the size and strength of the storm. The good news…

Donate Blood for Chance to Meet Packer John Kuhn

The Green Bay Packers fullback is teaming with the BloodCenter of Wisconsin for a blood donation challenge that runs through Jan. 6.

BloodCenter of Wisconsin is launching a special Run Your Route blood donation challenge featuring Green Bay fullback John Kuhn. Kuhn was inspired to be a blood donor himself because of a serious motorcycle accident which involved his father in 1981. His dad, also named John, received several units of blood following the accident. “I’m grateful for the generosity of the blood donors who helped my father – and now I hope to encourage others to save lives,” said Kuhn in a statement. The challenge, which will run from Nov. 19 to Jan. 6, 2013, encourages donors to “run their route” to their local BloodCenter of Wisconsin donor center to donate blood. The donor center with the best turnout at the end of the challenge will win a post-season party…
