Howell Ave. Crash Leads to Minor Injuries, Citation
Three vehicles were involved in an accident Thanksgiving afternoon at Howell and Centennial.
A three-vehicle accident Thanksgiving afternoon at Howell and Centennial caused minor injuries and resulted in a citation for inattentive driving. A 77-year-old woman looked in her rear-view mirror to check on kids in the back seat when she collided with the back of another vehicle about 1:50 p.m., according to an Oak Creek police report. That vehicle then collided with the back of a third car in the intersection. Two passengers, a 5-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl, sustained minor injuries but declined medical attention. Police cited the 77-year-old woman for inattentive driving. Her vehicle sustained severe front end damage, as did the vehicle she hit.
