Nucor Cold Finish Named Chamber's Business of the Year

The Oak Creek manufacturer was lauded for its community service and team approach.

Oak Creek manufacturer Nucor Cold Finish got the nod as the South Suburban Chamber's Business of the Year during the organization's annual dinner Wednesday night. Nucor, which manufacturers steel bars, is the largest cold finish producer and the largest recycler of steel in North America. The company has also been a supportive and generous corporate citizen in the South Suburban area and an active member of the chamber, said Barbara Wesener, the executive director of the South Suburban Chamber.
