Pay Bumps Approved for Some City Workers
The Oak Creek Common Council approved about $58,000 worth of pay increases for nonunion city employees.
Some city employees will get pay increases in 2013 following Oak Creek Common Council votes Tuesday night. The increases approved Tuesday amount to a total cost to the city of $58,636. Forty-four nonunion workers will see a wage increase, City Administrator Gerald Peterson said. Whether a city employee gets a pay bump is based on where they are in their pay range, according to a report to council members. Those already at the top of their pay range will not receive an increase in 2013, while those moving through the steps in their pay ranges will, officials said.
