Residents have extra chances to get relief from the heat.
With the heat wave forecasted to last all week, open swim hours at the Oak Creek High School pool have been extended to 4:30 p.m. through Thursday. Milwaukee County has also extended hours for its pools. Outdoor pools will have an evening session; wading pools and splash pads will be open an additional two hours; and Cool Waters and David F.
