Man Confronts Police, Creates Scene, Gets Arrested
Man started swearing at officers and created disturbance in neighborhood at 3:30 a.m., according to police.
There are times when cops catch someone doing something wrong. Then there are the rare occasions when people come to them and create problems where there were none. This is one of those times. A 19-year-old man, just two hours removed from an underage drinking ticket, approached a squad car about 3:30 a.m. Monday and asked what the officer was doing there and why he was on "his corner," according to an Oak Creek police report. The officer was patrolling the 1200 block of E. Sommers Drive because of some recent vehicle break-ins. That didn't seem to matter to the 19-year-old, who became belligerent, started swearing at the officer and created a disturbance in the neighborhood, according to the report.
