Oak Creek Mayor Steve Scaffidi plans to sponsor a citywide initiative this fall to help improve the community's health profile. In this week's Mayor's Message, Scaffidi said he wants to hold a series of events aimed at weight loss and reducing residents' health risks. They would be held from September through the end of the year. Anyone interested in helping on a committee or local businesses wanting to sponsor an event should contact Scaffidi at Oak Creek City Hall, 8640 S.
