An 11-year-old Franklin boy was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in the 600 block of W. Puetz Road Monday afternoon, leading to the arrest of the driver. The boy was on the north side of Puetz Road traveling eastbound when a driver turning from S. Liberty Lane to go westbound on Puetz hit him about 4:30 p.m., according to an Oak Creek police report. The driver, a 25-year-old South Milwaukee woman, told police she never saw him. The boy was knocked off the bike and suffered minor injuries, including scrapes and soreness to his left arm and hand. Police arrested the woman discovering she was driving after revocation and without a required ignition interlock device.
