Oak Creek Man Finds Honesty Not Always Best Policy

30-year-old told allegedly officers he had "been drinking all day" and lamented marijuana being taken from his car.

A 30-year-old Oak Creek man is facing drunken driving charges and felony drug charges after he got a little too honest with Milwaukee police officers. Stanley Joe Bates was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with one count of second offense possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, he faces up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 7:58 p.m. Monday, two Milwaukee police officers were on patrol in the 2600 block of W. Illegal Window Tint Leads to Drug Charges for Milwaukee Man

Oak Creek police pulled over a vehicle on Rawson Avenue and found a 24-year-old man in possession of cocaine and marijuana, according to a criminal complaint.

A 24-year-old Milwaukee man is facing drug charges after police found cocaine and marijuana during a traffic stop in Oak Creek. Maurice S. Snyder Jr. was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of possession of cocaine. If convicted, he faces up to one year in county jail and $5,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On May 3, an Oak Creek police officer on patrol in the 1200 block of W. Rawson Ave. spotted a car with illegal window tint and registered to a person with a suspended license, so he pulled it over. Man Facing Two Drug Charges, 30 Years in Prison

Oak Creek police officers knocked on his hotel room door and noticed the smell of marijuana, which led to the discovery of more drugs.

A 27-year-old Milwaukee man could spend the next three decades in prison after Oak Creek police officers found him in a hotel room with Oxycodone pills, heroin and cocaine. Fernando Vazquez was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of possession with intent to deliver more than three grams of heroin and one count of possession with intent to deliver more than five grams of cocaine. If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison and $100,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Saturday an Oak Creek police officer at Red Roof Inn decided to knock on Vazquez’s room door.
