Bells Ring For Proposed Wedding Chapel

The Oak Creek Plan Commission signed off on plans for a wedding chapel in the Market Place Village.

The Oak Creek Plan Commission has approved plans for a wedding chapel to open in the Market Place Village, at the corner of Chicago and Puetz roads. Plans call for the space at 8625 S. Market Place to be used for weddings, commitment ceremonies and baptisms. "We see this wedding chapel having a positive effect on local area businesses such as hotels, florists and gift shops as well as tux rental places," Rev. Jim Myers said in a letter to the Plan Commission. "We strongly believe in giving back to the community and being a resource of support for all." The wedding chapel joins an eclectic mix of small businesses in the Market Place. See a list of stores in the Patch directory.
