ReplyI think I watched one of them. They miss half the steps involved, know nothing about gathering and comparing comps, looking at sales figures to see which way the trend is developing, in addition to providing little or none of the planning I mentioned.

ReplyNever heard of HGTV, but I know these people have been talking to someone. I assumed they were paying some Internet guru for bad advice.

ReplyNo kidding Betsy. I have not done this in my carrier. We have our own ethics standard to live up to, but it is getting close to showing the same listing to more than one buyer I am working with. Who would have thought we would ever see a turn around like this? Listings are way down and Sellers are in a good position to work out terms on their listing contract with independent agents with the ability to negotiate in their own. No need to listen to a high pressure sales pitch. Maybe this market is good. It will help put agents with tech skills out in front.

ReplyI do have a question for you? Why did Scott Walker kill the high speed rail project without considering suggested alternatives to the Fed proposed plan? Walker knew the high speed rail has been planned to connect the east and west coasts, along I94, as an alternative to plane fights. This would have saved millions of gallons of fuel a year.
The changes to the proposed plans included a direct high speed rail connection between the Milwaukee and Chicago airports.
It seems to me, the revenue from a new, and direct airport connection would have more than paid for $4M est operating costs. Take into account the additional jobs created at the Milwaukee airport, and possible future expansion, shows Wisconsin lost many more jobs than has been reported.
This does not take into account the future overflow from the Minneapolis, St. Paul airport, which is at capacity now.
I think it was a smoke screen, stating the issue only concerned transportation between Milwaukee and Madison. This is what I mean by, many representatives are out of touch with the general public. For once, I would like to see all the options made public, and discussed in informative manner.

ReplyDan, just wanted to say thanks for using this forum. One of the major problems I see in government today is the fact many of our elected representatives spend little time communicating with the public. I feel many have lost touch with the needs, and pressures the average voter faces from day to day. Keep up the great work.
