ReplyVocal and Vitek you are both so outmof line it is sickening. Do you get real pride outmof cutting down other people???? Look on your own doorstep before cutting down others. What do you do besides run over from the mouth? What have you done for the city? Look at your own yards. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Mr. Dick Bolender was a truly great man and a super mayor. And. Al, enough cannot be said for stepping up and doing a fantastic job under the worst of circumstances. Thank you Al!

ReplySure the people of Oak Creek have spoken, but you and your gang have been too busy waiting for the next reply at the meetings. You are just about jumping out of your seats. Listen, they are speaking. as for my spelling, excuse me, how about your grammar , "and now were faced" shouldn't that be we're faced"?
Alan, Tom, Dan and Gehl. stay with your decision!!!! At least these men had the guts to do exactly what the people are asking for and what this council and committees have worked so hard on in the past three years. I can sincerely hope those few that go on and on and on are really not who speaks for Oak Creek. Well, of course they are not. -

I totally agree. This has gotten so nasty and keep referring back to Mayor Boldender. Cmon you just keep this going on and on and it is all crazy. Mayor Boldender and the council have done an exemplery job and this city wouldn't look as great as it does if not for the council and committees. You people are a very small majority. As you saw when Mayor Bolender was elected and ran away with every district. HELLOOO The people did speak and the ones that count continue to speak. Clean up your own houses, then throw stones.

ReplyI totally agree with Michalski. Enough already with the waiting for the new library and city hall. Look how many years this has been going on and you still get the same results from some of the old cronies that just like to complain for complaining sake. This library is ridiculous and as you heard numerous people state that they go to Franklin library for a quality library. And city hall, have any of you actually gone and looked at the conditions we ask our employees to work in???? Put it up to the voters? This council has been well informed for the past three years and have seen plan after plan. It was time to step up and follow through. Obviously, Mr. Michalski is the one to do that!

We recently moved from Oak Creek where we lived for 15 years, to Texas. I was truly just sick when I heard the news of what happend. As Mr. Jagler had mentioned in his story, you just cannot believe that something like this could have happend in Oak Creek. You here of all the other tragedies that happen but never, ever think it could happen in your city. My deepest sympathy to all for the lives lost. I cannot say enough for the officers that showed nothing but being true heroes. The police force in Oak Crrek has always been the best of the best but they really showed exactly how great they are with their response to this horrific event. My thoughts and prayers continue for Lt. Murphy. I am stunned and amazed on how far reaching all of this is. Here in the Dallas metroplex area, flags are flying half mast and there is a huge vigil being held tonight here in Texas for all those that lost their lives but they are dedicating this vigil to Lt. Murphy. Multiple times a day I hear tributes to him and all that the police of Oak Creek and the community have done for those affected at the temple. Just want to let you all know in Oak Creek that even as far as Texas you are being thought of and prayed for. The Sikh community here have joined forces to keep vigils going and praying for all of you. How amazing how much love and compassion has come out of all this.
