Upset Over Parking Ticket, Man Makes Bomb Threat
Police were called to MATC after a man told a cashier during an argument that "someone should blow up this place."
A man upset over a 3-year-old parking ticket at Milwaukee Area Technical College's Oak Creek campus made a bomb threat to a cashier, police said.
According to a police report released last week, the cashier was explaining the process the man would have to go through to contest the 2010 parking ticket when he became upset and started an argument.
At the end of the July 16 incident, the man told the cashier "someone should blow up this place" and left, according to the report.
The cashier believed the man was just upset and did not actually intend to bomb the school, police said.
Nevertheless, officers cited the man for disorderly conduct.
